The CC-Jumbo is our largest manual cable cutter, engineered for utility-scale electrical work where cutting capacity and leverage are paramount. The ratcheting mechanism with 4:1 mechanical advantage enables a single technician to sever copper conductors up to 400mm² and aluminum conductors up to 630mm². The forged chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel cutting head is induction-hardened to HRC 58-62 and features a proprietary blade geometry that prevents conductor flattening. The telescoping fiberglass-reinforced nylon handles extend from 680mm to 980mm, providing additional leverage for the most demanding cuts while keeping the tool transportable. ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) cutting capability makes this tool essential for overhead line work.
