The WR-20 is our largest manual wire rope cutter, built for heavy industrial rigging, marine, and construction applications where cables up to 20mm must be cut cleanly and efficiently. The forged chromium-molybdenum alloy steel jaws are induction-hardened to HRC 60-64 at the cutting edges while maintaining a tough, impact-resistant core. The specialized dual-anvil shear design traps the rope between two hardened surfaces, preventing individual strand movement during the cut for a perfectly clean, square end. With an extended 600mm length and optimized compound leverage generating over 5,000kg of cutting force, the WR-20 easily handles multi-strand cables, aircraft cable, and elevator rope. The double-injected TPR handles feature a rigid steel core for durability and a soft outer layer for grip comfort.
